What Is the Target Share Analyzer?

The Target Share Analyzer helps fantasy football managers identify which players command the most volume in their team's passing attack. Target share is one of the most predictive metrics for fantasy success — players with high target shares consistently outperform those with lower shares, regardless of efficiency.

This tool calculates each player's target share percentage and targets per game, then rates them based on volume relative to their position:

🔴 Elite Target Hogs: 25%+ target share — league-winning volume
🟡 Solid Contributors: 18-25% target share — reliable weekly starters
🟢 Role Players: 10-18% target share — flex or depth options
⚪ Minimal Usage: < 10% target share — avoid in most formats

⚠️ Low volume — avoid in most lineups

Insight: Player A commands a massive 25% target share despite modest raw numbers. This is a volume-based breakout candidate — targets will eventually convert into production. Player B is barely involved in the offense and should be avoided.
