Ryan Rehkow will get contract extension with Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals have signed punter Ryan Rehkow to a two-year contract extension via the 2026 NFL season, it was introduced on Tuesday.

Rehkow, who can be a second-year participant in 2025, initially signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent in the course of the 2024 offseason out of BYU. He performed in all 17 video games as a rookie and punted 53 instances for 2603 yards. His gross punting common (49.1) and internet common (42.9) every set a Bengals single-season file and led all rookies in 2024.

In his profession debut on September eighth vs. the New England Patriots, Rehkow set an NFL single-game file with 64.5 yards per punt (minimal 4 makes an attempt) and set a staff file for longest punt (80 yards).

For his efforts, Rehkow was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Workforce.

With that, the Bengals have each their punter and kicker signed for a number of extra years, as kicker Evan McPherson is signed via the 2027 NFL season.
